Bhojeshwar Temple – Ancient Shiva Temple with Largest Shiva Lingam

Commissioned by Raja Bhoj, this incomplete temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is renowned for housing one of the largest Shiva Lingams in the world, carved from a single stone.
The temple, built without mortar, is a masterpiece of early medieval engineering and stone craftsmanship. The lingam is over 7.5 feet tall and 17.8 feet in circumference, set on a massive platform of finely polished stone.
